Parkrun League Armley Sept 22.png
Parkrun League Table Sept 22.png

This is open to all members of Morley Running Club, but to be eligible you MUST have Morley Running Club as your official club on the parkrun website... not Morley Runners, or any other ones... if you aren't sure which club you are attached to on there, check!! And yes, sadly this means that our friends who are Lakers, Pudsey Pacers, Wakefield Tri etc aren't eligible - but are still very welcome to join in for fun!!

Every month, there will be one local parkrun that is the nominated club parkrun for that month. The next one will be SATURDAY 8TH OCTOBER AT ROUNDHAY PARK!!! That means there will be 12 league runs over the year, and to be in with a chance of winning, you need to compete in at least 9 - ie 75%. If you take part in more than 9, your best 9 results will be used.

The points will be awarded using the age graded scores on the parkrun website, so it is not down to just time... so everyone has a chance!!

Points will be awarded as follows:

Age graded score:

70%+ = 8 points
65%+ = 7 points
60%+ = 6 points
55%+ = 5 points
50%+ = 4 points
45%+ = 3 points
40%+ = 2 points
40%< = 1 point

There will also be one bonus point available for anyone who sets a new course PB during the league run!! However, this will not count if it is your first time at that venue and 4 points for volunteering (instead of running). If more than 9 parkruns are completed then any running points will take precedence over volunteering.
